'Brown and Friends' the Line Friends animated series on Netflix

Netflix will broadcast a new animated series on December 29 entitled Brown and Friends , made in 3D CG computer graphics .

Created in partnership with digital entertainment company IPX, the series features 11 of its original Line Friends messaging app sticker characters, including Brown, Cony, Sally and Choco in charming, dialogue-free slapstick situations. The new cartoon also comes as popular characters celebrate their XNUMXth anniversary.

Brown and Friends tells stories of everyday life, set in a small and cozy neighborhood bar. Some moments are big and some are small, but we all know corny drama is what makes our lives truly special. Even longtime fans of Line Friends will discover untold stories of their favorite characters in their lighthearted new venture.

The Line Friends

Line Friends (stylized as LINE FRIENDS) are featured characters, invented by South Korean designer Kang Byeong Mok, based on stickers from several applications by South Korean internet search giant Naver Corporation and Japanese messaging app Line. Released in 2015, the characters are used in various products, animations, games, cafes, hotels and theme parks. In addition to its online presence, physical stores have opened with Line Friends in cities around the world. The brand is currently managed by its subsidiary Line Friends Corporation since 2015.

The original line characters were created by Kang Byeongmok (a South Korean designer), also known as “Mogi” in 2011.
