Red Carpet Studio reveals the details of the world premiere of the new animated series The Bugabooz, aimed at preschool children. The show follows the descendants of several mythological villains and is the adaptation of the book series of The extraordinary adventures of the Bugabooz of the firm, Anton Kalinkin.
The story of The Bugabooz
The new generation of villains were destined for great evil deeds, but the young people chose to use their magic for a good cause. So now the children of "the bad guys" are committed to helping the children face their fears with their motto: "Everyone cheer! The Bugabooz are here! To make your fears disappear! “Additionally, the Bugabooz must protect the enchanted forest and their magical relics from the evil Xengel, who is trying to steal ancient magic and instill terror in humans.
The production of The Bugabooz
The series is designed to develop cognitive skills and propose a simple and playful way to control fears. The project is based on specialized skills for child, psychological and social development.
“We imagined the offspring of legendary fairy tale characters like Baba-Yaga; Zmei Gorynych, the dragon; Koschei the Immortal, the immortal villain; Leshy the spirit of the forest and Undina the mermaid, ”explained Anton Kalinkin, general producer of Red Carpet Studio. “The values of the next generation are much more human. The Bugabooz was developed by an international super team of award-winning Russian, Canadian, Danish and American professionals, including writer James Backshall (PAW Patrol, Max & Ruby, Turbo Dogs), an Emmy and BAFTA nominee with 25 years of successful film and television industry experience. The director is Frederik Budolph-Larsen (Tag Film), a professional with over 25 years of experience in visual media. Budolph-Larsen directed 20 episodes of LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, LEGO Star Wars: All-Stars, Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu and the upcoming Playmobil to exhibit. He also worked Hitman: Blood Money, Hitman: Absolution and a number of other AAA video games.
