Dada! Optimize “Mekka Nikki” for Cartoon Forum, with an extra trio of cartoons to purchase

Dada! Animation (dada-animation.com) based in Paris, a specialist in real-time animation, will exhibit four of his projects at this month's Cartoon Forum 2022 ( cartoon-media.eu ). One of these, Mekka Nikki , a science fiction series aimed at children and young people aged 12 and over, will be presented to European broadcasters and animation professionals during a presentation session with its co-producer, Squarefish, as part of the official event of the co- manufacturer selection.

Mekka Nikki is a 3D / 2D animated sci-fi adventure that includes 10 30-minute episodes for Season 1. Described as an "epic saga," the series is adapted from the comic by Belgian authors Exaheva and Félix Laurent, with an eye to bringing forward the legacy of the futuristic series as it explores the themes of the conservation of the human species, gender issues and physical disability, among others.

The pitch of Mekka Nikki at the Cartoon Forum will take place on Wednesday 21 September at 11:45 am in the Purple Room.

Dada! will also take advantage of the individual networking meeting opportunities at the Cartoon Forum to present the pilot episode of its edutainment series, Captain Tone Up , currently in development with Disney Television France. The program is aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 10 and promotes the benefits of good nutrition and circulation.

The studio will also present two other projects: the animated documentary French Patisserie ,  who proposes a gastronomic journey in collaboration with Gaël Clavière, the head pastry chef of the official residence of the French Prime Minister; and the preschool poetic cartoon The Nebulons , in co-development with the Diabolo films.

“We look forward to presenting our portfolio of projects at Cartoon Forum 2022. These projects appeal to all audiences, from preschoolers to families, and include contemporary and universal topics in a fun and engaging way,” he says. Jérôme Mouscadet, Director and Producer of Dada! Animation.

The producer Jean- François Ramos notes: "We use real-time game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine for rendering and compositing in development, as well as to test and optimize some of our projects."

Mecha Nikki

Mekka Nikki  (10 x 30 'S1)  - Mekka Nikki is a science fiction soap opera for children aged 12 and over, adapted from a comic written by Belgian authors Exaheva and Félix Laurent. This committed initiatory research, developed in collaboration with Squarefish, carries on the tradition of the great futuristic series while contributing to the revitalization of the space work. It does so through the contemporary graphics it employs and the topics it explores, including the conservation of the human species, gender issues and physical disability.

Captain Tone-up

Captain Tone Up  (12 x 2'30 ")  - As part of the broadcasters' commitment to Arcom's food card, Disney Television France has partnered with Dada! Animation to create a 3D animated series for children aged six to 10 called Captain Tone Up . This series will encourage children to eat well, be active and get enough sleep. In each of her adventures, Captain Stella Tone-up provides a solution to a question presented by a young man. He then he explains the specific behavior in a scientific and engaging way, sharing the steps that can be taken to remedy this impact.

French Patisserie  (30 x 7 ′)  - French Patisserie is an animated documentary for gourmet families that tells the extraordinary story of French sweet gastronomy. The documentary was produced in collaboration with chef Gaël Clavière, head pastry chef to the French Prime Minister for 17 years at the Hôtel Matignon. French Patisserie takes viewers on a delightful journey through some famous French culinary creations, from the enthralling saga of the famous Macaron to the conception of the Paris-Brest in homage to a Belle Epoque cycling race.

The Nebulae

The Nebulons  (78 x 7 ′) - The Nebulons  is a poetic cartoon series created in co-production with Diabolo Films for children aged three to five. The series tells the burlesque and dreamlike adventures of adorable little legendary elves called Nebulons, who like to create shapes in the clouds to amaze children.
