Disney + has announced The Book of Boba Fett - the new series from Lucasfilm

Disney + today announced that The Book of Boba Fett - the new Lucasfilm series anticipated in a surprise post-credit scene after the season two finale of The Mandalorian - will debut Wednesday 29 December exclusively on the streaming platform. Disney + also released the key art of the series.

 The Book of Boba Fett, an exciting adventure from the universe of Star Wars, follows legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand as they make their way into the underworld of the Galaxy as they return to the sands of Tatooine to claim territory once controlled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.
 
The Book of Boba Fett is portrayed by Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson are the executive producers. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck are the co-executive producers, while John Bartnicki is the producer and John Hampian the co-producer.
