Bulma is one of the main characters of the "Dragon Ball" manga and universe, created by Akira Toriyama. She makes her first appearance in the opening chapter of the manga, meeting Goku and recruiting him as a bodyguard to help her search for the Dragon Balls. These spheres, once collected, summon the dragon Shenron, who can grant a wish.
