The highly anticipated second chapter of the new Evangelion film trilogy! New characters! New Evangelions! New story! The incredible reinterpretation of the classic series, by the same author Hideaki Anno in a new, exciting saga, blockbuster in Japan.

The tight fight of humanity continues, represented by the members of the Special Agency Nerv, against the mysterious creatures called "Angels". Mari, a pilot assigned to the provisional unit Evangelion 05, takes care of the awakening of the Third Angel. Asuka, on the other hand, undertakes to eliminate the Seventh Angel on board her Eva-02.

After defeating the Eighth Angel, the Ninth Angel is a more treacherous enemy, able to sneak into the brand new Evangelion 03 unit and take possession of the pilot assigned to test, that is Asuka.
