Year 0087 of the Universal Century.
The discord between the inhabitants of the Earth and the emigrants on the space colonies has not yet been healed and smoldering like embers under the ashes.
The Earth Federation, weakened and unable to satisfy the independence demands of the colonies, gives way to the organization of the Titans, a violent and interventionist military body determined to silence the claims of the Spazionoids by adopting squad methods.
The opposing current is represented by the AEUG, a paramilitary organization that supports the demands of the colonies. Also in the ranks of the AEUG is the great strategist Char Aznable, the one who in the past maneuvered the threads of the One Year War and who now moves in the guise of Captain Quattro Bajeena. At his side is the young Kamille Bidan, a Mobile Suit pilot skilled enough to steal a Gundam Mark II from the Titans to put it at the service of the Anti Earth Union Group.
