TUDUM, the first global event for Netflix fans, gave previews and updates on popular streamer titles and highly anticipated new projects, with tons of previews, trailers, clips and updates announced from the creators and stars of their favorite shows. Here's a quick rundown of the great animation and comic book adaptations revealed:

Opening the event, from TUDUM were the great nobles on Japanese anime, celebrating the streamer's ever-growing list, showing upcoming projects and stories that fans already know and love. Anime continues to grow their fan base on the platform, with over 120 million families choosing to watch at least one anime on Netflix in the past year.

  • Ultraman 2 Season (2022) by Production IG and Sola Digital Arts will resume several years after the event of Ultraman - the legendary "Giant of Light" is now a memory, as he is believed to have returned home after battling the numerous giant aliens that invaded Earth. Shin Hayata's son, Shinjiro, appears to possess a strange ability, and it is this ability, along with the revelation of his father who was Ultraman, that leads Shinjiro to fight the new aliens invading Earth as the new Ultraman.
  • Mark Millar and Leinil Yu's 13 x 30 'adaptation of Super Crooks (Super crooks), premiered on November 25, got a teaser showing the lush work producing the BONES studio:

  • Drifting Home (2022), the next feature film from acclaimed Studio Coloriod (A Whisker Away, Penguin Highway) tells the story of two childhood friends who drag themselves into a mysterious sea, next to an entire residential complex.

  • Attendees got a look at a new featurette featuring international music artists Miyavi, who faces the dubbing challenge for the first time in Bright: Samurai Soul (Brilliant: Samurai Soul) like the evil Koketsu.

In Netflix's adult animated comedy department, Shion Takeuchi of the (Gravity Falls) original series Inside Job unveiled its first fantastically insane trailer. We finally know who really rules the world… and it explains itself A lot. The series will debut on October 22
