CAKE and Bureau of Magic Team for the Pre-K series "Dog Bird & Me"

CAKE, a leading children's entertainment specialist, has announced its partnership with Bureau of Magic, an award-winning studio that creates, writes and produces inclusive family entertainment on 2D animated comic series: Dog Bird & Me.

Based on the picture book series created by EP Bureau of Magic and writer Abram Makowka, Dog Bird & Me was developed and will be produced by the Bureau of Magic and the newly formed CAKE Productions; There are 52 episodes of 11 minutes. While the series is aimed at 4-7 year olds, Dog Bird & Me will provide a fun family co-viewing experience that celebrates curiosity, playfulness and empathy through simple, fun and easily recognizable stories told from a child's perspective.

Dog Bird & Me tells the story of six-year-old Avery, a big-hearted kid with even bigger ideas, and his curious sister, Dog Bird, who looks like a bird on the outside but is a dog on the inside. They live with their parents, great-grandmother and friends in Family Forest, a warm, wonderful and welcoming alpine family camp community where humans and animals are the same and each is delightfully different. Together, they embark on gaming adventures, uncovering answers to their big questions, bringing their big ideas to life, and learning about themselves and others along the way. The new series joins the development and production of London-based CAKE Angry Birds: Summer Madness (Netflix) Mama K's Team 4 with Triggerfish Animation (Netflix), Angelo Rules with TeamTO (France Télévisions, Canal + and Super RTL), Chickens in space in space with Anima Estudios (Disney EMEA), Pablo with Paper Owl (CBeebies) e Mush-Mush & The Mushables with La Cabane and Thuristar, currently having an international premiere on Boomerang.

The Bureau of Magic (BoM) creates and produces exclusive stories, including the hit animated series Lost in Oz, now streaming on Amazon and broadcast on major networks around the world, including Nickelodeon and Disney. BoM projects have been nominated for 15 Emmy Awards, winning four, including Outstanding Children's Animated Program. BoM recently partnered with Banijay's Zodiak Kids to co-produce the original adventure comedy series Save the legends! and is currently developing series with Paramount TV Studios, Universal Television Alternative Studios, Appian Way and Electric Hot Dog.
