Capelite is a Spanish animated series for children, made with the stop-motion technique and plasticine, consisting of 26 episodes of 5 minutes each, produced and created by Rodolfo Pastor. It was first broadcast on April 4, 2001 in Debout les Zouzous.

History

The series tells the adventures of the young mushroom Capelito, who possesses a magical power: when he presses his nose his mushroom hat changes shape and appearance. The ideas that jump out of Capelito's hat reflect the imagination and creativity of all children.

The reconstruction of the environments and objects is very accurate and meticulous and ranges from books to the snack box, from tempera tubes to bicycles.
