Disney Junior kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, on the official YouTube channel page, with a new Spanish-language version of the popular Ready for Preschool. Cartoons are lessons suitable for preschool children, with Disney Junior characters who, with cheerful music and fun, stimulate children to learn shapes, numbers, letters and much more.

“The new short films in Spanish by Ready for Preschool will offer children the opportunity to follow their favorite Disney Junior characters and learn simple and appropriate preschool lessons on subjects like math, letters of the alphabet, cognitive thinking and socio-emotional development, "he said Lori Mozilo, Executive Director of Original Programming for Disney Junior. "Having both the English and Spanish versions available to our audience encourages curiosity, not only for the lessons presented, but also for the different languages ​​and, for the extension of different cultures."

The first short, “Formas” (“Shapes”) premiered Tuesday at the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 15). The 2D musical animation follows Mickey Mouse - Mickey Mouse as he discovers and plays with the many shapes that exist in the world.

The Disney Junior's cartoon series Ready for Preschool premiered in October 2019, and has amassed nearly 21,5 million video views on Disney Junior's YouTube channel since then. Featuring favorite characters from the hit Disney Junior series, included TOTS, Doctor Plush (Doc McStuffins), Vampirin, Puppy Dog Pals in addition to Mickey and Minnie, the series features fun and playful tunes that prepare young minds for kindergarten.
