FXX orders "Little Demon" with Danny and Lucy DeVito, Aubrey Plaza

FXX has ordered the new animated comic series Little demon, having given the green light to the half-hour pilot project in April last year. The news was announced by Nick Grad, President, Original Programming, FX Entertainment.

Created and written by Darcy Fowler, Seth Kirschner and Kieran Valla, Little demon will premiere on FXX and will be available to stream the next day on FX on Hulu.

Synopsis: Thirteen years after being made pregnant by the Devil (Danny DeVito), a reluctant mother (Aubrey Plaza) and her daughter Antichrist (Lucy DeVito) attempt to live an ordinary life in Delaware, but are constantly hampered by monstrous forces, including Satan, who longs for custody of his daughter's soul.

Plaza is executive producing alongside Fowler, Kirschner, Valla, Dan Harmon, Jake, Lucy and Danny DeVito of Jersey Films 2nd Avenue and ShadowMachine (Monica Mitchell, Corey Campodonico and Alex Bulkley). Steve Levy is the producer of the project. Little demon is produced by FX Productions.
