If elegant cutting and lightning fast archery are your thing, then a surprise awaits you with the introduction of the Braver class in Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis! This class can use Katana and Photon Bow interchangeably, allowing them to adapt on the fly to changing battle conditions. Their class skill, Brave Fight, is perfect for the heart of battle, as it reduces PP consumption and increases PP recovery while attacking for a short period of time. So, if a Bujin is really nagging you, activate Brave Combat to make sure you're fully fueled!

Each Braver weapon has its own collection of Photon Arts, or bindings, which are tailored to Braver's style. The Photon Bow allows the use of Frenzied Fireworks, which fire a shot that explodes on contact with an enemy, flooding him and nearby enemies with a spray of arrows. When loaded, this Photon Art skips the long-range tactic and instead sprays those in close proximity to the Braver with a deadly spray of arrows.

The Katana shows true mastery of the Brave's blade, as subsequent attacks with the same Photon Art trigger slight variations. Chaining these attacks results in a whirlwind of deadly destruction for ARKS's enemies. One notable photonic art in their arsenal is Iris Gale, who cuts through nearby enemies with devastating force.

The Braver skill tree is filled with skills that further enhance their already deadly arsenal. Brave Combat gains additional benefits, such as Brave Combat Final Bonus, which recovers your HP and PP based on your hit count while the skill was active. Tracer Arrow adds a homing ability to arrows released with the normal photon bow attack, and the Katana Guard Counter automatically unleashes a counterattack after performing a Perfect Guard using the weapon action. Finally, the Fearless Attitude ability counters incoming frontal attacks after releasing a Photon Art or normal attack and automatically follows a counterattack.

The Braver seamlessly blends attack and defense, seizing the opportunities provided by enemy attacks and relentlessly following a hail of blades or arrows. This fast and agile class offers an exciting ride through Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis and we heartily encourage you to try it!
