Kyoto Animation announces the second season of the anime Tsurune: Tsunagari No Issha

Kyoto Animation announced that his anime Tsurune will have a second season entitled Tsurune: Tsunagari No Issha which will debut in January 2023Since childhood Minato Narumiya has been fascinated by kyūdō, the traditional Japanese archery, precisely since his late mother took him to see a competition. During the meeting, little Minato was enraptured by the "tsurune", the sound of the shutter, starting to want to be able to produce it himself. Thus, in middle school, he becomes a great promise of this martial art. However, one day something breaks and Minato is no longer able to grasp the hitherto always hit target. Disheartened, he abandons the discipline until, having reached high school, he rejoins the archery club with some new companions and some old childhood friends, aiming for the prefecture's tournament, also thanks to the guidance of a new young master.

Jun Fukuyama will be part of the cast of the new season of the anime in the role of Eisuke Nikaidō. Returning cast members include Yūto Uemura in the role of Minato Narumiya e Kensho Ono in the role of Shū Fujiwara. Takuya yamamura will return to direct the new season.

A promotional video will be posted on August 26th on the occasion of an event open to the public for Gekijoban Tsurune: Hajimari no Issha.

The film Tsurune: Hajimari no Hitosa was screened in theaters in Japan this summer. Takuya yamamura returned to direct the film at Kyoto Animation. yamaura she also wrote the script, under the supervision of the anime's screenwriter, Michiko Yokote.
Miku kadowaki she returned as a character designer.
For the music Masaru Yokoyama (Fruits Basket the Final, horimiya, Lies of April) replaced harumi as a composer.

The anime series is based on the light novel of the same name Kotoko ayano and whose illustrations are made by Chinatsu morimoto. In Italy the first season of the anime is available on Crunchyroll complete with Italian subtitles, the light novel is still unpublished.
