Moonbug acquires One Animation from "Oddbods"

Moonbug Entertainment, a Candle Media company, today announced the acquisition of One Animation, a Singapore-based media and production studio. The company is best known for creating and producing the hugely popular series oddbods, three times Emmy nominated.

Moonbug will seek to expand the global distribution footprint of oddbods and grow the brand into new formats, products and experiences.

The acquisition of One Animation, the second acquisition Moonbug has made since joining Candle Media, is the next step as Moonbug continues to expand globally and across Asia. Following the acquisition, the One Animation team will join Moonbug, but will remain in Singapore and continue to develop and produce the shows they are currently working on.
