Su Hyper Scape created by Ubisoft si develops a completely new futuristic universe, as seen in the new cinematic trailer of the videogame produced by Platige Image of Warsaw. Working with COVID-19 restrictions, the studio planned a three-minute tour of the real and virtual worlds of the year 2054, hiring 130 artists on the project and creating over 200 resources to meet the needs of cinema.

At its core, Hyper scape it is an intense, fast and vertical FPS Battle Royale, but it is also a brand new IP with a rich tradition, an original history and a cast of unique and different characters. The movie trailer introduces the story of Hyper scape which will be developed season after season.

Platige Image has been involved in this cinematic trailer from the very beginning, from working on the script to creating dynamic animations in line with the blazing pace of the game's action. A big focus was on creating the hyper-realistic model for the main characters.

“We were involved in this project very early in the global production of the game. We had access to its early releases and then to a constantly updated build at Ubisoft's Montreal headquarters, ”said director Bartek Kik. “So, you could say that together we have gone through all the exciting but challenging stages of building a new IP. We received a great deal of understanding, trust and positive feedback at every stage of production. "

“For the mocap session, we spent five days on set, two days to capture the main elements and one day to rehearse, one for the additional photos and another for the faceware session,” noted CG producer Agata Bereś. . "It was really crucial to show fluidity and dynamism in the movement, so we worked with the incredible Maciek Kwiatkowski and two fantastic parkour artists: Monika Mińska and Jakub Grossman."

Maintaining the animation production process after the pandemic was declared was a major challenge. Despite this unusual situation, work on the project was not interrupted and was carried out on schedule.

The CGI trailer was released with the announcement of the game's official open beta. The full launch of Hyper scape is scheduled for late summer on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
