Quibi Snares 'Filthy Animals' by Haas Bros. and Stoopid Buddy

The newly launched short-lived video streamer Quibi, which recorded 1,7 million downloads in its first week, announced the development of Dirty animals (working title), a 2D animated science fiction comedy series with Rashida Jones; written by acclaimed artists and twin brothers, Nikolai and Simon Haas; and produced by Stoopid Buddy Stoodios (Robot Chicken).

Dirty animals is focused on Sunny Day (voiced by Jones), too intelligent for his good and lonely twelve year old suburban middle school who befriends a selfish, renegade, messy, messy, sweet adopted cat, Cruz.

The series was created and written by Nikolai Haas, Simon Haas and Johnny Smith. The executive producers are Seth Green, John Harvatine IV, Matthew Senreich, Eric Towner, Chris Waters, Will McCormack and Rashida Jones (Le Train Train).
