Trailer: "Supernatural Academy" Toons Up a YA Fantasy with Teeth


NBCUniversal streamer Peacock has unveiled the otherworldly trailer for his new animated series offered for young adult fantasy fans, Supernatural Academy. Debuting on January 20, the 16 x 30 'show is adapted from Jaymin Eve's best-selling books

Supernatural Academy tells the story of the adventure of twin sisters marked at birth: one grew up in the supernatural world, self-confident and popular. The other grew up in the human world, an unusual outsider. Now they are about to reunite at the Supernatural Academy, and neither of them are thrilled. These adversary brothers will have to learn to overcome their differences and trust each other to save themselves and save the world!

Supernatural Academy produced by 41 Entertainment (Kong: The Monkey King, Tarzan and Jane, Super Monsters) and animated by ICON Creative Studio (Monsters at work, action pack). The founder and CEO of 41 Ent. Allen Bohbot is the executive producer; the series is directed by Steve Ball (The League of Super Evil, Storm Hawks, ReBoot), with Jody Prouse as animation director, developed and written for television by Gillian Horvath. John Majkut composed the original theme songs.
