The time has come! The long-awaited traditionally animated film "Klaus" will be released on November 8, 2019 in theaters and November 15, 2019 on Netflix. As many animation fans can tell you, it's been a long time. We have seen Klaus images (screenshots), pencil tests and news about this animated film for years. We are thrilled to see the return of hand drawn animation to the big screen at its best.
Just in time for Christmas. Klaus will become a new party classic that will be loved for years to come.
Klaus will open in theaters on November 8, 2019 and on Netflix on November 15, 2019.
When Jesper (Jason Schwartzman) stands out as the Post Academy's worst student, he's stationed on an icy island above the Arctic Circle, where struggling locals hardly exchange words, much less letters. Jesper is about to give up when he finds an ally in local teacher Alva (Rashida Jones), and discovers Klaus (Oscar winner JK Simmons), a mysterious carpenter who lives alone in a cabin full of hand-made toys. These unlikely friendships bring laughter back to Smeerensburg, forging a new legacy of generous neighbors, magical lore, and neatly hung stockings. An animated holiday comedy directed by Despicable Me co-creator Sergio Pablos, Klaus is co-starring with Joan Cusack, Will Sasso and Norm Macdonald.
