Netflix and Pearl Studio have released the latest trailer for Glen Keane's highly anticipated CG feature film Over the Moon – The fantastic world of Lunaria - a beautifully crafted musical fantasy adventure, inspired by both Chinese mythology and contemporary life. The new trailer takes us to the light-filled city of Lunaria and reveals a daring Moon Goddess (voiced by Hamilton star Phillipa Soo), who instructs our young heroine to find her long-lost true love in exchange for the wish that she will send Fei Fei back to Earth.
Beyond the Moon will premiere on Netflix streaming on October 23.

The film stars Cathy Ang (Fei Fei), Phillipa Soo (Chang'e), Robert G. Chiu (Chin), Ken Jeong (Gobi), John Cho (dad), Ruthie Ann Miles (mom), Margaret Cho ( Auntie Ling), Kimiko Glenn (Aunt Mei), Artt Butler (uncle) and Sandra Oh (Ms. Zhong).
Directed by Academy Award winner Glen Kean and co-directed by Academy Award winner John Kahrs, over the moon was written by the late Audrey Wells. Producers are Gennie Rim and Peiin Chou (Abominable). Executive producers are Keane, Janet Yang, Ruigang Li, Frank Zhu and Thomas Hui.
The soundtrack
The original songs of the film are by Christopher Curtis, Marjorie Duffield and Helen Park (KOREAN POP), with a soundtrack by Oscar winner Steven Price.
