Rhône-Alpes. . “The current health crisis has made it clear to us that it is essential to continue to create and allow young talents to express themselves, through this new residency project, but also through the digital edition of this year's Festival. In these uncertain times it is essential to safeguard the irreplaceable link with works and artists ".

"Haute-Savoie is the land of animated cinema and the Department has been supporting the dynamics of this sector for over 40 years: its Audiovisual Production Support Fund has already participated in almost 40 works to see the light of day. Creation, production, education of moving images, training of young people, international broadcasts and now residences for artists: Haute-Savoie supports all phases and all those involved in the animated film, "said Christian Monteil, president of the Department of Haute-Savoie. "Over time, this has become one of the emblems of our territory. The resources provided by the Department are enormous and attest to a lasting commitment. The health crisis we are going through only highlights the absolute need for this investment in quality artistic and cinematographic content. ".

More than ever we are supporting French creation and even more specifically the animation sector. Encouraging and learning new talent should continue to be essential in the creative cycle, "said Cécile Négrier, director of France 3 Cinéma, and Tiphaine de Raguenel, director of audience and youth work.
