Aquaman: King of Atlantis - The Warner and DC minseries

WarnerMedia Kids & Family and DC have released the promo of the highly anticipated animated miniseries Aquaman: King of Atlantis (Aquaman: King of Atlantis). The new animated series from Warner Bros. Animation features a playful retelling of the iconic DC superhero and tells an original story about Aquaman's early adventures as King of Atlantis. Audiences will follow Aquaman, his royal advisor Vulko, warrior princess Mera and a fun roster of characters on epic underwater excursions filled with colorful animations, monstrous creatures and thrilling battles.

The action-packed miniseries will air new episodes weekly on HBO Max, starting Thursday, October 14.

The three-part event begins on Aquaman's first day of work as King of Atlantis, and he has a amount to recover to do. Fortunately, he has his two royal advisors to back him up: Vulko, the scholar, and Mera, the warrior princess who controls the water. Among the unscrupulous surface dwellers, the oldest evils of beyond time and his own half-brother who wants to overthrow him, Aquaman will have to rise to the challenge and prove to his subjects, and to himself, that he is the right man for the throne!

The talented vocal cast of Aquaman: King of Atlantis includes Cooper Andrews like Aquaman, Gillian Jacobs like Mera, Thomas Lennon  like Vulko and Dana Snyder like Ocean Master.

Victor Courtright and Marly Halpern-Graser serve as showrunners and co-executive producers. The series is produced by James Wan, Atomic Monster's Michael Clear and Rob Hackett, and Sam Register.
