Facebook's Oculus, Baobab Studios, and leading Latin American animation studio 3DAR have announced the casting of Archie Yates (Critics' Choice Movie Award Nominee, Best Young Actor for Jojo Rabbit) in the lead role of Toto in the original virtual reality production, Paper birds.
Baobab (Bonfire) joins 3DAR (Dark eyes) and Oculus for the executive production of the immersive animated experience, an official selection of the 2020 Venice International Film Festival, which also marks the narrative debut of the director duo German Heller, CEO and co-founder of 3DAR based in Argentina, and the acclaimed art director Federico Carlini.
