New trailer and cast revealed for "Trese", premiered on June 11th

Netflix today released the official trailer for Tress, the highly anticipated Netflix Original Anime series based on the Filipino graphic novel created by Budjette Tan and KaJO Baldisimo, premiered with all six episodes on Netflix on June 11 (www.netflix.com/trese).

Set in a Manila where the mythical creatures of Filipino folklore live hidden among humans, Alexandra Trese finds herself confronted with a criminal underworld of malevolent supernatural beings.

The additions were also revealed to the English-language and Filipino-language voice cast:

Darren Criss (The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story), Jon Jon Briones (Ratched), Nicole Scherzinger (Moana), Manny Hyacinth (The good place), Lou Diamond Phillips (La bamba) to Basque Dante (Avatar: the last airbender) stick Shay Mitchell (YOU, Pretty Little Liars), previously announced as the voice of Alexandra Trese in the English language version. Wes Gleason is the voice director of the English version.

Lisa Soberano (My ex and why, alone / together) will voice Alexandra Trese in the Filipino language version of the series and will be joined by local professional vocal talents Simon dela Cruz (like Crispin and Basilio), Apollo Abraham (Captain Guerrero), Christopher Carlo Caling (Skein), Christian Velarde (Nuno) e Eugene Adalia (Anton Trese). Respected Filipino-language voice actor Rudolf Baldonado will direct local vocal talent.

The series is directed by showrunner and executive producer Jay Oliva (Justice League Dark, The Legend of Korra); Shanty Harmayn and Tanya Yuson of BASE Entertainment in Jakarta / Singapore are also executive producers. Tress it is written by Yuson, Zig Marasigan and Mihk Vergara; the directors of the series are David Hartman (Transformers: Prime), Mel Zwyer (Star Wars Rebels) and Tim Divar (Young justice). Jojo Aguilar (TRON Revolt) is the set designer and artistic director; character design by Will Nichosl (Star Wars the battle of the clones).

The composers of the series are Kevin Kiner, Sean Kiner and Dean Kiner (Star Wars the battle of the clones). Filipino band UDD, formerly known as Up Dharma Down, composed the official soundtrack for Tress, entitled "PAAGI", with lyrics by Armi Millare and Paul Yap.
