Nominees announced for Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards hosted by Gronk and Cosgrove

Actress Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly) and NFL superstar Rob Gronkowski will take on the most slimy roles of their lives as co-hosts of the 2022 Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards, which airs live on Saturday, April 9 at 19:30 pm. (ET / PT) from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. The KCAs will be broadcast simultaneously through Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons and the Nick Jr channel.

The full list of nominees for animation, film, TV, music and more was also unveiled today. Leading the group with four nods each are Taylor Swift, Adele, Danger Force, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, iCarly, Cobra Kai and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run.

“The Kids' Choice Awards are a one-of-a-kind show with tons of energy, superstars and, of course, a lot of slime. Nickelodeon has always been my family and hosting this iconic show with Gronk will be a blast! says Gosgrove.

“Gronk” Gronkowski added: “I've always been a child at heart, so hosting the slimmest awards show of the year will be an extraordinary time for me. I can't wait to bring the fun I have on and off the pitch to the kids at home! "

This year's show will also include: Nickelodeon's signature airship as he ventures into the metaverse with celebrity avatars; content of the second screen; live voting where fans stay in control; and the ability to broadcast the show live on all platforms. Musical performances will be announced at a later date.

Voting is now open on KidsChoiceAwards.com and via the Screens Up app on supported iPad, iPhone and Android devices in the United States. Starting next week, international fans can vote via the web.
