Oasis Animation appoints Marianne Culbert to lead production


Oasis Animation, a Montreal-based 2D animation studio that is part of the Sphere Media group, is delighted to welcome Marianne Culbert as Head of Production. In a context of continuous business growth, Culbert will be responsible for all production activities at Oasis and will supervise the artists of the studio.

Culbert has extensive manufacturing experience and a long history of success. In a career spanning more than 30 years, she has held various positions as a producer and executive producer, leading large teams at various 2D animation studios across Canada, such as Nelvana, Mercury Filmworks and most recently Portfolio Entertainment, where she is served as Vice President of Production.

Throughout his career, Culbert has produced and delivered many series for prestigious clients including PBS, Disney, Netflix and Teletoon, to name a few.

Culbert replaces Diane Dallaire, who left the organization in mid-May to pursue personal projects.

Founded in 2003, Oasis Animation is Quebec's largest 2D animation studio and one of Canada's largest. Specializing in the production of high quality animated series, the studio offers a full range of digital 2D animation services to the global animation industry. Based in Montreal, Oasis Animation employs 150 people and derives the majority of its current revenues from overseas markets. The company is known for its international productions such as F is for the family, Arthur e Curious George.
