Spookley celebrates Easter with new short films on Disney Junior
The iconic party pumpkin Spookley the Square Pumpkin reunites with his friends at Holiday Hill Farm for two new colorful shorts celebrating Easter. A puppet variety show and animated music video will unfold on Disney Junior and digital outlets this weekend.
In the 12-minute live-action / puppet special The Spookley Easter Show, holiday friends present an Easter-themed variety show. Backstage, they briskly prepare for the Holiday Hill Farm egg decorating contest while Spookley helps figure out how to pick a contest winner without hurting anyone's feelings.
The Easter Show debuts April 8 on DisneyNOW and the official Spookley the Square Pumpkin YouTube channel.
Plus, the two-minute animated music video What a Colorful Day sees Spookley and his new friend JellyBean, the Easter chick, harmonizing with the gorgeous spring colors in full bloom at Holiday Hill Farm.
What a Colorful Day will air in rotation on Disney Junior on April 8 and will be available the same day on Disney Junior YouTube and DisneyNOW, joining Spookley's YouTube channel on April 10.
These new shorts are the latest in a series of Holiday Hill Farm celebrations that began with Halloween (2021) and will continue to roll out throughout the year. Also in the works is a new 45-minute animated Christmas special of Holiday Hill Farm, Spookley and the Unbreakable Egg, which will feature Spookley and JellyBean.
