Sutikki collaborates with Digital Dream Labs on the animated series of Cozmo and Vector
Sutikki, the children's entertainment company behind the popular British series Moon & Me, has signed an agreement with U.S.-based educational technology company Digital Dream Labs (DDL), to create, develop and distribute an animated series and live-action content based on the company's innovative robot duo Cozmo and Vector .
The journey from the best-selling toy brand to the entertainment franchise begins with the premiere of the first animated featurette that debuts on the newly released Cozmo & Friends YouTube channel. The hub will host a constant stream of innovative and creative content that will further explore Digital Dream Labs' revolutionary robot creations.
Sutikki's initial focus will be on Cozmo, an expressive little robot with a mind of its own. Equipped with a unique personality that evolves and learns over time, a glance at her big blue eyes reveals Cozmo's star potential. Cozmo paved the way when it launched in 2017, earning the top spot for Amazon's best-selling toy in the US for two consecutive years and the best-selling toy on Amazon in the UK and France in 2017, according to One Click Retail .
Sutikki plans a comprehensive content campaign, initially on her dedicated YouTube channel, leveraging her experience and expertise in creating highly engaging brand franchises that speak to today's demanding and tech-savvy kids. Short-form videos will tap into the production company's ability to engage consumers through compelling storytelling and show IP on a global scale.
In addition to plans for new video content, Sutikki plans to launch a worldwide consumer product program. Digital Dream Labs' pre-order for updated versions of both of their popular consumer robots will open on November 20 before the holiday season, with the new robots hitting retail in Spring 2021.
