The eccentric, disturbing and hilarious series of "DeadEndia" will arrive on Netflix

BAFTA and Netflix-nominated production / development studio, Blink Industries, announces new 2D animated series Dead Endia, based on the graphic novel by the award-winning cartoonist Hamish Steele. The series will be produced in the Blink Industries studio in London and will premiere on Netflix in 2021.

Based on Hamish's comic horror comic and web short film Dead End The series follows the adventures of Barney, Norma and the magical talking dog Pugsley, as they perform their summer jobs in the haunted house of the theme park while fighting the supernatural forces that inhabit it. Together with their guide to Underworld Multiplane, a thousand-year-old sardonic demon named Courtney, they will face zombie pets, demon game presenters, sleep-sucking witches and, even more terrifying: their first crushes!

The comics of Dead Endia they were praised for being able to capture the early adolescent frustrations of characters with a wide variety of identities and experiences, including Barney, a transgender teenager and Norma neurodiversity.
