The anime "Gloomy Bear" is in the works as Reemsborko signs a multi-IP deal with Octas

Three successful properties from Japan are heading towards bigger, better, and more sinister things as Reemsborko signs as an EMEA agent for the Octas brand catalog, including Gloomy Bear, All Purpose Bunny e Mimi & Neko.

Gloomy Bear was created in 2000 by manga writer and illustrator Mori Chack, who began selling art and merchandise featuring the character in the vibrant streets of Osaka during his free weekends. The cute but edgy, cuddly but violent character soon caught on when counterculture aficionados embraced Gloomy Bear as the perfect antithesis to the traditional "kawaii". Who wouldn't love a seven foot tall pink grizzly bear beating its owner to death?

Powered by 30 short and fun anime episodes that will stream everywhere, Gloomy Bear has been licensed worldwide and has seen a plethora of products reach the Japanese market in 2021. New international partners on board for 2022 include Funko, Bioworld, Isaac Morris, ID Supply, GE Animation and Fossil.

Finally, Mimi and Neko they are a friendly and "cheeky" couple of cats and bunnies. Their back story begins as normal pets aspiring to become humans. One day, a magical star came and granted their wish… but it was only about 50% effective. Now, Mimi and Neko are cuddly creatures with humanoid hands, feet, and downright cute buttocks.
