Grendizer U: the return of the legendary robot in a renewed anime series
Launched in 1975 to save the planet Fleed and help Daisuke Amon get to safety, Grendizer - known to Italians as Ufo Robot or Grendizer - returns in a renewed anime series born from the close partnership between Manga Productions and Dynamic Planning.
The official teaser of Grendizer U - this is the title for us Italians - was revealed for the first time on the occasion of the AkibaDaisuki festival in Tokyo, where it received considerable positive feedback from the public: the new anime series, in fact, introduces a new logo and new features for the protagonists that do not go unnoticed in the eyes of nostalgic admirers of the great robot.
Go Nagai still involved
Among the names present in the crew, as revealed by the teaser, Go Nagai as well as mangaka and creator of Grendizer, the director Mitsuo Fukuda, the character designer Yoshiyuki Sadamoto and the screenwriter Ichiro Okouchi. The music is composed by Kohei Tanaka, already known for his contribution in One Piece and Sakura Wars.

The arrival in 2024
Having become an icon in the world of animation and manga over the years and after the enormous success achieved in the Arab world, in France and in our country, the Ufo Robot Grendizer series will arrive in its new guise also in Italy, but there will be be patient: according to what was announced by the press office, in fact, the debut on TV and on streaming platforms - not yet known - is expected in 2024.
