The collaboration on the occasion of the release of the Walt Disney Animation Studios film confirms the commitment that has united Disney and Make-A-Wish® on an international level for over 40 years.

“I am grateful to Disney Italia for choosing to support us and dedicate the preview of its highly anticipated animated film Wish to Make-A-Wish. Asha, the young protagonist, one day expresses a wish so powerful that she invokes a small sphere of boundless energy called Star, with which she will face an insidious enemy,” says Sune Frontani, President and co-founder of Make-A-Wish® Italia . “A particularly significant topic for us, who know well how a desire, especially that of a child suffering from a serious pathology, can turn into an extraordinary and disruptive psychological and physical force. The film therefore conveys great hope and positivity to all seriously ill children, who often feel helpless and lacking control over their lives. I am sure that Wish will be able to help spread the message that a wish is a force that can change the world, guide actions and change destinies."

Disney Italia and Make-A-Wish® Italia invited the evening's guests to dream together in a space dedicated to the non-profit organization, enriched by Mattel's Star Magiche Surprises. For every Mattel Magical Surprise Star purchased until 31 December 2023, Mattel EMEA will donate* 10% of the recommended retail price to Make-a-Wish® to help grant wishes that improve the lives of girls and boys suffering from serious illnesses .

On the occasion of the preview, Lego licensees were also present, with the statues of the protagonists of Wish Asha, Star and Valentino, with a total weight of 110 kg made with 39.500 bricks in 200 hours; and Markwins, with the Lipsmacker brand, which gave a moment of magic to the girls and boys present at the evening: two make-up stations, with products from the collection created specifically for Wish, illuminated the little ones' faces with light and glitter guests before watching the film.
