Funimation, Bigscreen brings successful anime films in virtual reality projections
The world-leading anime brand Funimation (a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Television), has partnered with Bigscreen, the leading virtual reality software platform, to schedule a continuous list of popular anime films, from My Hero Academia: two heroes a Attack on Titan and more, for Bigscreen's vast VR audience. Virtual anime cinema launches with over 30 films, with more new releases and popular titles added later in the year.

The special live film screenings starting May 1st are an opportunity for viewers across the country to see the film in virtual reality. In the virtual world of Bigscreen, users can customize personal avatars, go out in a virtual lobby and chat with other movie fans. Movies are streamed to screens within virtual cinemas, providing a social experience for watching movies.
