Nintendo is giving away LEGO Mario keychains as part of the new LEGO VIP partnership

Nintendo of Europe has announced that its My Nintendo brand is partnering with LEGO VIP to offer fans new ways to explore the growing world of Super Mario-themed LEGOs.

For anyone who doesn't know, LEGO VIP is a free loyalty program that offers rewards when you shop directly from the LEGO website or stores. Once you've signed up, you can start racking up points that can earn you exclusive rewards and coupon codes - in many ways, it's very similar to Nintendo's My Nintendo Rewards program.

To celebrate the partnership, Nintendo is giving away a LEGO Mario keychain on its My Nintendo website; you will need to deliver 400 of your Platinum Points to claim one, and then simply pay for shipping (those in the UK can add it to an order from My Nintendo Store to combine shipping with other goods). If you also use LEGO VIP, you can spend points there to receive a matching LEGO Luigi keychain and digital background.
