Bejuba! Collects the fantastic comedy “Lisa and Kolos” for distribution

Bejuba based in Toronto! Entertainment has acquired the distribution rights for the 10 x 13 '/ 5 x half hour series Lisa and Kolos. Intended for ages six and up, French studio Melting Productions' new show about a fish out of water hero in a wacky, conflict-free world received the green light from Canal +; delivery is scheduled for July 2023.

The miniseries is a comic and animated game through an idyllic world of rainbow and butterflies in which two archenemies from another planet race to free themselves. In his quest to return home, superhero Kolos, a man of muscle and… well, muscle… teams up with the adorable Lisa, a dewy-eyed bunny. Each episode ends on a cliffhanger.

“The format is different and the premise is fun. This is what attracted us to the property, ”noted Tatiana Kober, president of Bejuba!

"I wanted to play with the idea of what would happen if a villain and a hero from a stereotypical world of superheroes landed in a world of rainbows, butterflies and naivety ... but also of love and friendship," said Florent Guimberteau, President by Melting Productions. "I wanted to create a comedy with soul and cliffhanger."

Plot: Kolos, a stereotypical hero, is sent by an evil lord, Zardos, to the planet of Tchoukitty, a world of rainbows and butterflies and NO conflict. Unintentionally and unbeknownst to Kolos, Zardos also lands in this world. Lisa, the town's problem solver, is tasked with bringing Kolos to the queen in the Land of Rainbows to get his wish to return to her world. The race between Zardos on one side and Kolos and Lisa on the other is underway: who will reach the Land of Rainbows first?
