"Red shoes and the seven dwarfs" passes the Spanish box office for the second consecutive weekend

Once again, animation is dominating the movie box office. The country this time is Spain and the film is Red shoes and the seven dwarfs (in Spanish, Zapatos rojos y los you are trolls), which has passed the rankings for two consecutive weekends.

According to Comscore, the South Korean CG feature claimed € 105.291 ($ 118.867 USD) on 214 screens in its Spanish premiere. He added another € 100.020 this weekend, bringing his gross total to the country to € 314.760 ($ 358.635 USD). Disney-Pixar is in second place with Onward this weekend with € 48.884, having finished third and first in the previous two weekends.

These numbers, although inevitably small, confirm the theory that films with characteristics for a family audience are currently required.  Red shoes and the seven dwarfs has been highly criticized, as being the parody of  snow-white The story is interpreted by a visibly overweight princess who magically loses weight and later presents herself as a typical slender beauty.
