World TV Iberoamerica, part of Mondo TV Group, one of the largest European producers and distributors of animated content, presents its new animated comedy for children Masked Cinderella (Cinderella in disguise). The animated series will be featured at a number of major industry events for broadcasters, program buyers and financing / production partners. These include MIPCOM Online +, Cartoon Forum, Weird Market and the recent Indian Cine Film Festival, where it won a major award.

Production

Still in production, Masked Cinderella (Cinderella in disguise) is an animated series in graphics 21 consisting of 26 episodes each lasting 22 minutes. The cartoon is a new and very modern version of the classic tale of Cinderella, full of magic, humor and adventure, aimed at an audience of children between six and 12 years. The 2D-HD animated comedy is created and directed by Myriam Ballesteros and written by Txema Ocio.

The show is a co-production with MB Productions, the production company founded by Ballesteros, which has been developing animated content for over 20 years. Ballesteros is a much admired and well known producer and director, with a strong reputation in the audiovisual industry for his very original ideas.

Within the festival Cartoon forum, the show was presented on a digital platform in three virtual rooms. Presentations are viewed on a digital platform, following a set schedule. The first showing of Masked Cinderella (Cinderella in disguise) took place on the day of the inauguration (15 September). The videos will be accessible until October 15 - CF participants will be able to request a personal login to access them.

Although still in the early stages of production, the animated series has already received an award: the pilot episode of Masked Cinderella (Cinderella in disguise) (presented as Cinderella Swing) won the award for the best animated short film from the jury to the eighth Indian film festival in August.

Most people think that Cinderella is just an insignificant little girl. They don't know that she is indeed the famous masked heroine who defends the kingdom from monsters and injustices - with a little help from her friend Merlin, the young wizard's apprentice.
